The\u00a0<handNotes><\/code> element contains a list of the different writing tools that were used. Each item in the list resides inside\u00a0an individual <handNote><\/code> element. Those <handNote><\/code> elements are empty elements that contain the writing tool in their @medium<\/code> attributes. The writing tool that was used the most throughout the document receives an extra @scope<\/code> attribute, which has \"major\"<\/code> as its value. For example:<\/p>\n

These <ptr\/><\/code> elements each have a @target<\/code> attribute that contain the @xml:id<\/code> of one of the two parts of the transposition (that occurs\u00a0in the <text><\/code>), preceded by a hashtag (#<\/strong>).
