What is it?<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0<unclear><\/code>\u00a0tag indicates an uncertain reading. Especially when you've only just started encoding, <unclear><\/code> tags are your friends. It's always better to tag something as <unclear><\/code> that you're 'only' 90% certain of, than to commit to\u00a0a possibly incorrect transcription. The document will be proof-read by yourself and your colleagues many times throughout the editing process, so there is plenty of time to minimize the number of <unclear><\/code> tags later on.<\/p>\n
